From Grain to Greatness
Engineered end to end.

We design, manufacture and commission complete flour, semolina, maize and feed mills — one partner, whole plant, from the first wheat kernel to the packed sack.

What we stand on

Built on knowledge. Powered by vision.

Four principles run through every calculation, weld and line of code we ship.

01

Dependable

Performance you can measure, traceable from design to lifetime support.

02

Pioneering

We create new technology instead of following it — innovation is more than a word.

03

Fast

Agile engineering and in-house production shorten every project timeline.

04

Responsible

Sustainable, food-secure milling for a world of diminishing resources.

The Alapros process

One continuous line — from wheat field to flour sack.

Every Alapros plant is a single engineered flow. Follow the grain through the five stages we master.

STAGE 01

Intake & Cleaning

Grain is received, weighed and cleaned — optical sorting, destoning, aspiration and debranning strip out everything that is not pure kernel.

Intake & Cleaning 01 / 05
STAGE 02

Tempering

Closed-loop moisture control conditions the wheat to the exact hydration that makes bran separate cleanly from endosperm.

Tempering 02 / 05
STAGE 03

Milling

Counter-rotating fluted rolls reduce the kernel gradually across the diagram — the heart of the mill, governed by our automation.

Milling 03 / 05
STAGE 04

Sifting & Purifying

Plansifters and purifiers classify every particle by size and quality, routing streams to the right passage.

Sifting & Purifying 04 / 05
STAGE 05

Weighing & Packing

Extraction scales balance the diagram in real time and finished flour is dosed, weighed and packed to spec.

Engineering & the Diagram

The diagram is where flour is won.

Long before the first roll turns, the mill is already decided — on paper. The diagram is the engineering blueprint that routes every gram of grain through cleaning, grinding, sifting and purification, and it governs extraction, energy, quality and capacity alike. It is where our deepest engineering lives: every passage is calculated from your grain and your targets, balanced across the whole flow, and proven in 3D before a single part is cut. It is why our very first calculations consistently reach the most efficient results the industry looks for — so the flour that leaves an Alapros mill is engineered, never left to chance.

  • Calculated, not copied. Every break, sizing and reduction passage is dimensioned from your wheat and product targets — not a template.
  • Balanced across the whole flow. Loads, sieve surfaces and airflow are harmonised end to end, so nothing bottlenecks and nothing is wasted.
  • Proven in 3D. The complete diagram is simulated before manufacturing, validating capacity, extraction and energy in advance.
Industry-leading efficiency — from the very first calculation.

Artificial intelligence at the machine

An AI expert that never leaves the mill floor.

Every Alapros line can be paired with a rugged panel that carries an artificial-intelligence expert: it listens to your machines in the language they already speak, learns how they run, and answers your operators in plain words. It needs no internet connection — and nothing it hears ever leaves your plant.

  • It listens without pause. Connected to your machines over their own communication protocols, it follows every signal around the clock.
  • It sees the fault coming. Drift away from normal running is flagged long before it becomes a stoppage.
  • It answers the operator. Ask a question at three in the morning and it replies from the machine’s own manual — no phone call, no waiting.
Works offline. Your production data never leaves the mill.

Anomaly detection

Unusual behaviour is caught while it is still small: a bearing warming, a roll drifting, a sifter out of balance.

Efficiency foresight

Falling extraction, rising energy per tonne, needless recirculation — named before the month closes.

Every manual, on hand

The full documentation of each machine lives on the panel and comes back as an answer, not as a PDF to search.

Order the part from the panel

When a part nears the end of its life, the order goes out from the same screen that warned you.

An example

How it learns

The sequence below is an illustrative scenario, written to show how the expert reasons. It is not the record of a particular plant.

  1. Day 0 · Noticed

    A small deviation, written down

Under the same load, a bearing on the second roller unit ran a little warmer than usual. Nobody noticed. The expert did, and kept it.

  2. Day 7 · Failure

The bearing fails and the line stops

An unplanned stoppage. A shift is lost, extraction falls, and flour quality wanders while the mill is brought back up.

  3. Learning

The two events are tied together

The expert links that temperature signature — seen alongside a fluctuation in the feed — to the failure that followed it, and remembers its shape.

  4. Next time

The same signature, caught in time

When the pattern returns, the panel warns the operator, shows the passage of the machine’s own manual that explains it, and the replacement is ordered from the same screen. It is fitted during planned maintenance. There is no stoppage.

No cloud, no subscription

The intelligence lives inside the panel.

The expert does not call a cloud service in order to think. It reasons on dedicated artificial-intelligence chips inside the panel itself — at hardware level, on your mill floor, whether or not the world outside is reachable.

  • No internet infrastructure

It works in a plant that has never been connected, and it keeps working in one whose line has just gone down.

  • No Wi-Fi

No wireless network to install, no coverage to survey, no signal to lose in a concrete and steel building.

  • No server

Nothing to rack, cool, licence, back up or administer. There is no second machine to keep alive.

  • No AI subscription

No fee per question, per usage or per user. The expert is bought once, together with the panel, and it is yours.

  • No data storage or memory bill

What it learns stays inside the panel. You never rent space from anyone to keep the history of your own plant.

MQTT · an industry standard

With IoT, your plant is ready to communicate.

With MQTT support, every machine, every line and every plant we build speaks to the business software you already run. Production, downtime, consumption and maintenance records are born on the mill floor and arrive in your ERP without anyone retyping them.

What MQTT is, in one sentence

MQTT is the open, widely adopted messaging standard that industrial equipment uses to publish what it is doing. It belongs to no single supplier — which is why a line commissioned today still speaks to the software you choose five years from now.

From the machine to the boardroom, one stream

Machine, line, plant: the same language at every level, whether you run one mill or ten.

Ready for the ERP you already have

Enterprise systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and IFS can consume the stream directly. No bespoke bridge, no keying figures in twice.

An open standard, so no lock-in

MQTT is not ours, and it is not anyone else’s. Change your software; your line stays where it is.

Your network, your boundary

The stream goes only where you let it go. The expert on the panel still reasons on the mill floor: connecting your plant to your own systems does not send it anywhere else.

Product and company names are the trademarks of their respective owners. Alapros claims no partnership with them; integration is delivered over the open MQTT standard.

The connected mill

Your factory, fully connected.

Machinery is only half of it. Alapros wraps every plant in a software layer — SCADA, MES/MOM, a mobile app and online parts — so the mill runs, reports and reorders on its own.

  • Alapros SCADA — real-time plant control, graphics and fault tracking.
  • MES / MOM — production execution and management, floor to boardroom.
  • Alapros App — the factory in your pocket, 24/7 monitoring and alerts.
  • Online Spare Parts — order, pay and track parts without a phone call.
